Individual Therapy

Individual psychotherapy is provided on a weekly or bi-weekly basis for adults seeking structured treatment for sex addiction, compulsive sexual behavior, problematic pornography use, and related concerns. Sessions utilize a psychodynamic approach to focus on understanding behavioral patterns, developing regulatory capacity, and addressing underlying psychological factors. This is not crisis intervention or short-term counseling.

Group Therapy

Men's Sex and Porn Issues Support Group: Group-based treatment provides a structured setting for men addressing compulsive sexual behavior and pornography addiction within a confidential, professionally facilitated environment. Group therapy helps clients break isolation, foster connection with others facing similar struggles, destigmatize addiction, and create mutual accountability. Groups are psychoeducational and process-oriented, with clear behavioral expectations and clinical oversight. Group therapy is not a substitute for individual sex addiction treatment and may be recommended as an adjunct modality.

Partner / Betrayal Trauma Support

The practice offers therapeutic support for partners affected by disclosure or discovery of sex addiction or compulsive sexual behavior. Treatment is trauma-informed and focuses on stabilization, emotional processing, and decision-making within appropriate clinical boundaries. This is not couples therapy and does not include mediation or relationship coaching.

Formal Disclosure Process

The practice facilitates structured disclosure sessions for individuals and couples addressing sexual behavior history within the context of relational repair. The formal disclosure process is a core component of CSAT-informed sex addiction treatment and is carefully planned, clinically supervised, and conducted only when both partners are therapeutically prepared. This is not a crisis intervention and requires substantial individual work prior to disclosure. Learn more about the formal disclosure process and sex addiction therapy in NYC.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is available for partners working toward relational healing following infidelity, sex addiction, compulsive sexual behavior, or betrayal. Treatment emphasizes communication, accountability, and the restoration of trust within a structured therapeutic framework. Couples work is not appropriate during active addiction or in the absence of individual treatment.

Men's Relational, Intimacy, and Sexual Dysfunction Concerns

Individual and group therapy are provided for men addressing intimacy difficulties, sexual dysfunction, performance anxiety, shame, and challenges in dating or maintaining romantic relationships. Treatment focuses on attachment patterns, emotional regulation, and the development of authentic relational capacity. This is clinical psychotherapy, not coaching or sex therapy.

In the group setting, men have the opportunity to break isolation, foster meaningful connection, and destigmatize struggles within a supportive, professionally facilitated environment.
